As you may know, your headshot is a key part of your professional presence. To ensure you look your best on your photo session day, please take a few minutes to review these simple guidelines:

Prep Checklist
- Grooming and Hair
- Please arrive with clean and styled hair
- Makeup (if worn) should be natural and professional
- Wardrobe
- Chew solid colors and avoid busy prints or large logos
- Bring one alternate option, such as a jacket, blouse, or tie
- Where professional attire is suitable for an important client meeting, or that best represents your team
- Rest & Energy
- Get sufficient rest the night before
- Stay hydrated so your skin looks fresh
- Relax. Will guide you through the process
Schedule & Location Coordination
Most likely, we’ll be photographing you during your allotted time slot. While we respect your busy schedule, it would be greatly appreciated by everyone if you could help us stay on schedule. A member of your team typically arranges these schedules. Please don’t hesitate to ask them when and where our photo session will be held.
Potential Group Photo
If we are taking a group photo during our session, please note that this may require a considerable amount of time and space within the office. Typically, a group photo with 10+ people can take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. We usually prepare the set for everyone beforehand and have people stand at various places to showcase the entire team, department, or company to its best advantage. Well, it can be awkward standing in the same spot for a long time. We do appreciate your patience and encourage you to have fun with the experience and get to know the person next to you a little bit more!
Tips for Success
- Select and prepare your outfit in advance
- Try your best to make sure clothing is wrinkle-free and well-fitted
- Clean glasses thoroughly if you wear them
- Have fun with the experience
With a few minutes of preparation, your headshot will project professionalism, confidence, and approachability.
I look forward to seeing you all during our photo shoot!
Best regards,
Tia
