Her Work Is Wellbeing. Her Movement Is Flamenco.Meet Nanako Aramaki @lananako , a flamenco dancer in Tokyo, and someone who carries so much purpose in everything she does.Flamenco is a traditional Spanish art form that blends dance, guitar, singing, and rhythm through the body. It’s powerful footwork, expressive arms, and hands that speak just as loudly as the movement. For Models in Japan: How Do You Prepare for Headshots or Brand Work?I often tell clients to rehearse for their headshot session like it’s a performance. The goal isn’t to memorize poses. I want you to tap into your main character energy before the shoot, so you arrive already connected to it.Not in a “put on a mask” way. In a rehearsal way. Because when you rehearse, you show up with more control, more range, and more ease. And that always translates on camera.Here are a few ways to rehearse your style of modeling (or acting) before your session:1. Do a mock shoot at home Set up your phone and practice holding an expression, then shifting it slightly. Think eyes, jaw, breath.2.
