In a world that’s always connected (with all its perks), it’s easy to forget there’s so much more to life beyond the screen. Let these photos serve as a gentle reminder that you are a human BEING. While you’re constantly caught up in the hustle of human DOING, don’t forget the importance of just being. Unplug, breathe, and recharge. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters. Laughing with friends on a sunlit bridge or stretching solo like the man in pink avocado swim trunks, it’s the simple moments that ground us.
Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to pause and simply exist. There's immense value in being present.

Here’s an excerpt from my blog post titled Building the Confidence to Act, and pictured here is A Man of Nature.
“I made up with a guy named Simon who was standing with his board also waiting for that wonderful high tide after the full moon.
I cued up questions I was naturally curious about after we told each other a bit about ourselves. He was a born and bred Gold Coaster and was absolutely passionate about surfing I asked him what makes someone so passionate about waking up so early in the morning and putting your body through such strain before work.
He talked about the dichotomy of how man-made the Gold Coast has become yet juxtaposed with all the gorgeous nature and life. He talked about how much he loved nature and how being in the ocean and so close to dolphins was very rewarding and awe-inspiring for him. He talked a lot about his love for dolphins and how some are friendly and playful and even admire surfers as they too serve among the waves.
Later that day I talked to a mutual friend who knew who Simon was and had a bit of a laugh as she mentioned how much of a fixture on the Gold Coast he is.”

Building confidence is about embracing fear and rejection. On my trip to Australia, I challenged myself to approach strangers on the beach for photos, despite the fear of rejection and the worry of inconveniencing others. I realized these fears were just excuses I was making before even giving it a try. The worst thing that could happen was a simple “no.”
By pushing through that fear, I experienced the power of confidence in action. I met INCREDIBLE people. It reminded me that taking action, even when you're afraid, is key to growth. Confidence isn’t built by avoiding discomfort but by leaning into it.

Hey friend, hey stranger, yes, YOU! I’m talking to you. When was the last time you showed yourself love? Yes, I understand you may be busy, but don’t forget to put yourself at the top of your priority list today. Why? Because you only have one life to live, and there’s only one of you.
So, I want to give you a little nudge and remind you to shower yourself with love today. I’m not sure what that looks like for you. Does it mean taking a rest? Being kinder to yourself? Protecting your energy? Maybe some retail therapy? Spending time with people who care about you? Whatever it means to prioritize yourself—whatever it takes—DO IT.
Why? Because you’re human, and you need to meet your needs and nurture yourself. You deserve to pour into yourself and empower yourself the same way you do for others. That’s it; that’s my reminder for you today.
